GENRE Emilio says "I guess Folk-Punk is the closest genre without saying ‘alternative’. I guess lo-fi as well, but that term’s also kind of a cliche" BIO Emilio Pinchi is a folk-punk artist based in Liverpool. He has been playing live shows around the North west and beyond for the past 3 years. He has released a live E.P and 3 studio E.P's; his latest 'Trying Man'. Influenced by the likes of Elliott Smith and The Antlers, Pinchi is insightful and effortlessly fresh, yet he possesses character and deliberations that are wise beyond his years. Emilio has received airplay from BBC Radio 6 and BBC Merseyside. Emilio has also had his music featured on BBC Introducing. He has been heralded in local and national press; 'A beautiful, authentic performance that never sounds like it’s trying too hard, yet carries absolute conviction.' - Tom Robinson, BBC 6 Music
'Pinchi seems to have set up camp comfortably between the uplifting and the melancholy, while his melodies offer chirpiness; his lyrics are wistful, tinged with an honesty and bitterness that hails to Elliott Smith and Conor Oberst' - Getintothis LINKS Check out Emilio’s latest track, 'Invisible Man' right here; www.soundcloud.com/emiliopinchi/invisible-man Get in contact with the man himself here; www.facebook.com/emiliopinchi MERCH None as of yet... Had some good shows myself at Leaf, The Kaz and the Arts Club. Also, the Lantern Theatre is an awesome venue, and I’m having my launch show there.
